💡 Special Opening Hours & Public Holidays
It is very common for major monuments such as Toledo Cathedral, the Alcázar of Toledo, or churches with active religious services to have different opening hours on important dates (Holy Week, Corpus Christi, local festivals, or liturgical celebrations).
There are specific days — such as December 25th (Christmas Day) and January 1st (New Year’s Day) — when most monuments in Toledo are completely closed.
On other dates, such as December 24th and December 31st, monuments usually close at midday.
📌 My local recommendation:
Before planning your daily route, always check the official website of each monument or ask directly about opening times. Temporary closures, restricted access, or last-minute schedule changes are more common than you might expect.
